Richard Barry is a semi-retired Manlius, NY, entrepreneur with leadership experience in railroad contracting and commercial real estate. As the owner of Frank Tartaglia Incorporated, he guided a Syracuse company responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining train tracks, crossings, bridges, and tunnels across five states. Richard Barry’s scope of work extended to building hi-rail equipment designed to run on railroad tracks.
Mr. Barry is active with the National Railroad contractors Association and was president of the Mallard’s Landing Home Owner’s Association for 15 years. He has purchased and renovated numerous commercial buildings over the decades, and continues to own and operate three properties in central New York.
Mr. Barry has been married for nearly half a century. He has one son residing in Texas and a second that sadly has passed way. He has received Christian Brothers Academy’s purple and gold award and contributes to worthy charitable organizations nationwide.
